What are the benefits for an e-Learning designer? Can I monetise my skills as an e-Learning designer?
This 1-day workshop aims to equip you with the skills to design and develop e-Learning content from crafting a Design Document through prototyping and implementing a short e-Learning unit.
You will first learn how to create a “catch-all” Design Document that will be shared with all your stakeholders (Client, Subject-Matter Experts (SME), Graphic Designer, Multimedia Producer, Instructor etc)
Based on the Design Document, you will prototype small learning units which will eventually form the whole e-Learning units complete with content, instructions and assessments for your learners.
The last activity of the day will have you explore a few hosting technologies for your e-Learning content to reside.
You can also opt to join Day 2 from our 2-day workshop that will explore more industry-standard technologies both for authoring and implementation. This will include more hands-on guided practice sessions in authoring video, courseware and interactive content.
It would be advantageous if you have experience in training or instructional design. You will be using basic content authoring technologies for the prototyping and development phase.
